Information Needed in Problem Reports

When submitting a problem report, please provide as many as you can of the following items of information which are relevant to your problem:

• Date and time (being as precise as possible and specifying the time zone);
• The IP address from which you were connecting to the HPCC (shown in the footer of almost all HPCC pages);
• If you were logged in to use applications, the user ID under which you were logged in;
• If you were using an application, the name of the application;
• A description of what you wanted to do, or what results you expected;
• An explanation of the problem (that is, of the unexpected or incorrect results); and
• Any additional information you think will help the HPCC Manager in understanding and correcting this problem.

When appropriate, detailed text or data which illustrates the problem you are reporting should be copied from the problem page and pasted into the form at the left. It should be possible under most circumstances to open this form under a new browser window while keeping the problem pages available in other browser windows.
